Getting Started

No one knows your company better than you do. Coming up with an online voice can be a challenge, and this is where we come in. While we can write content for you, we can't do it alone. If you decide to have us help you create a strong online presence, we will have a few questions:

What are you looking to say online?

Is your company on the leading edge of your industry and looking to attract the younger crowd? Is your primary market more of a high end crowd? Is it possible to attract both? We understand the importance of these questions and can create a website with these things in mind; however, one person's classy is another person's lackluster. One way we help to clarify your expectations is to have you provide us with a short list of websites that you like and dislike; this is one of the most important steps in creating a website for anyone.

Designers are facilitators of the clients expectations, and effective communication requires a clients full disclosure of wishes, wants and dislikes. Even if you absolutely detest something, that is often the most useful piece of information you can provide.

What information do you want online?

Writing content can be challenging. We understand, which is why we don't expect you to write a full business case or mission statement. Point form is more than acceptable if that's all you have time for; paragraphs are great. Again, you love your business and know exactly what you want to say when people ask you about it and that's exactly what you should put online. We may not use everything you give us, but the more you CAN give us the better your website will be.
